The Software Engineer (University Grad) role

The University Grad track hires people finishing a bachelor’s degree into engineering roles. The one live US req, Network Production Engineer, builds experience across Backbone, Data Center and Network Infrastructure teams through first-year rotations. Interviews now put an AI assistant inside CoderPad, so candidates are judged on reading, debugging and building on code with AI help.

Meta publishes no cohort size; as of October 10, 2026 its careers site lists just three University Grad reqs company-wide, none for Software Engineer.

Worth knowing: Across Meta’s 1,144 open reqs (crawled October 9–10, 2026), none is a Software Engineer (University Grad) role — while Meta’s official hiring page says its coding interviews now include a built-in AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Meta’s own models) that candidates are expected to use.
