“Overall process was good. I had two interviews scheduled in parallel after the assessment. Interviewers were ex-googlers and helping me out where I stumbled. ”

“Everything was smooth. Interviewers were super friendly. They made me feel comfortable. I took my time to prepare which i highly recommend”

“The process was straightforward and behavioral. The team was looking for fit for the specific product and the team itself. The previous experiences were heavily emphasised and if they matched the current team's needs, that's what they wanted to verify.”

“It was really good as they do seem to care about interview and i had a great time discussing with the interviewer.”

“My interview process started with a coding round focused on data structures and problem-solving, where I was able to understand the problem and write a working approach but struggled with optimizing the solution under time pressure. What went well was my ability to implement a correct baseline solution and explain my thought process, but I didn’t perform as well on edge cases and optimal complexity, which likely impacted the final outcome.”

“The process was very quick and I met so many people throughout- The Assessment day was very demanding because it was 4 hours interview- It was mostly behavioural questions, then an exercise with other candidates and then lastly technical interview.”

“Process was fairly quick but the technical process could be better in my opinion. I got a feeling that they are looking mainly backend engineers”

“Smooth and well organized. I had a recruiter screen, a phone interview with a TPM covering Leadership Principles and technical scenarios, and clear communication on next steps throughout.”

“The interview was structured around product sense and feature-design questions, with a strong emphasis on identifying the user problem, prioritizing a target audience, designing a solution, and thinking through metrics and tradeoffs. The conversation felt fairly interactive, and I had opportunities to explain my reasoning rather than just give a final answer. What went well was being able to structure ambiguous problems and connect solutions back to user needs. The harder part was balancing depth with time, especially when there were several possible directions worth exploring. ”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
