Software Engineer Interview Experience
Interview process
The process was very fair and there was a clear emphasis on communication and culture fit. Everyone I interviewed with was very pleasant and encouraging. My one complaint would be the sense that the recruiter was not helpful or informative when it came to preparing me on what to expect. Technical rounds emphasized practical ability and had strong correlation to the responsibilities of the role.

Interview tips
I would emphasize studying core concepts over edge cases or a broad range. The technical interviews placed a lot of focus on low level design and a firm grasp on fundamentals.
Company culture
Everyone was exceptionally friendly and encouraging throughout the interview process. I felt like the interview accurately assessed capability in the role and avoided any gotchas.

“The weirdest round was a principal engineer asking me to design an AI bot for ordering employee lunches. I went in expecting cloud infrastructure and Go, then suddenly I'm trying to talk through prompt behavior and architecture without getting lost in the terminology.”

“The weirdest part was the AI round. I was told to come ready to prompt whatever tool I wanted, but when I got there it basically turned into a loose system design interview about using AI agents for testing and reliability.”
