Welcome to the PM Course + How to Use It

We're going to help you ace your product management interviews.

The interview process has changed significantly in the AI-first era. Companies like Meta, Apple, and OpenAI have updated their formats, raised the bar, and, in some cases, replaced entire question types.

This course covers all of it, with up-to-date frameworks, modern examples, and practice questions drawn from our research across hundreds of candidates at the companies you most want to work at. By the end, you'll be able to handle any PM interview at any level.

What this course covers

The course is organized into seven modules. Each has its own introduction lesson that goes deeper into what to expect and how to prepare.

  1. Introduction: Leveling, types of PM interview questions, and a company-by-company breakdown of how top companies are hiring right now.
  2. Product Strategy: How to reason about markets, competition, and long-term bets.
  3. Product Sense: How to identify the right users, problems, and solutions, and in some interviews, prototype them live.
  4. Analytical and Execution: How to define success, set metrics, and make decisions when the data is messy.
  5. Leadership and Drive (Behavioral): How to tell stories that demonstrate impact and signal the right level.
  6. Technical Fluency: How to speak credibly about AI and work effectively with engineering teams.
  7. Take-Home Assignments: How to approach roadmap and pitch exercises, and how to use AI to do them well.

How to use this course

You can "choose your own adventure" and start with the module most relevant to your goals, especially if you're on a time crunch.

Here's what we recommend for most candidates who aren't in a rush. If you have the time, start from the very beginning and work your way through.

  1. Start with the introduction for each module. The intro lessons tell you what the question type is, why it matters, and what interviewers are actually scoring.
  2. Practice before you look at the answers. We recommend this because you can notice your own gaps and then work towards stronger answers.
  1. Do at least one practice question per day. If you have four weeks, that's enough to cover every question type with time to revisit weak spots. If you have two weeks, prioritize the modules most relevant to your target companies. If you have one week, do product sense and analytical first: they're the most commonly asked across companies.
  2. Complete five+ mock interviews, per round. Lessons teach you the concepts. Mocks help you apply the concepts. Use our mock platform to practice with other candidates and AI tools.
