“Just regular coding, not much talking, asked to write 2 different solutions and both need to be runnable.”

“Overall process was good. I had two interviews scheduled in parallel after the assessment. Interviewers were ex-googlers and helping me out where I stumbled. ”

“Everything was smooth. Interviewers were super friendly. They made me feel comfortable. I took my time to prepare which i highly recommend”

“The process was straightforward and behavioral. The team was looking for fit for the specific product and the team itself. The previous experiences were heavily emphasised and if they matched the current team's needs, that's what they wanted to verify.”

“It was really good as they do seem to care about interview and i had a great time discussing with the interviewer.”

“My interview process started with a coding round focused on data structures and problem-solving, where I was able to understand the problem and write a working approach but struggled with optimizing the solution under time pressure. What went well was my ability to implement a correct baseline solution and explain my thought process, but I didn’t perform as well on edge cases and optimal complexity, which likely impacted the final outcome.”

“It was a very typical FAANG interview style. The coding questions are all very leet-code, so it's easy to practice. The design question was unique; I hadn't heard of it before. Not that not all engineers use a question from the internal question bank, but generally speaking it's fine. For system design, be sure to bank-of-envelope to justify why something needs to be a distributed system. Your approach might be overkill / underkill without doing this initial analysis, and you might come off as "just regurgitation sys-design interview formula" ”

“The process was what was expected and they were quick in scheduling and re-scheduling as needed. All questions were ones I had seen before via LC tagged. ”

“Everything went well and my second interview of my final round was just a conversation. First interview was more technical just to see if I could talk about and execute technical concepts.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
