“The process started with a resume screen followed by a recruiter call. There is a hiring assessment that they send you as a first step (behavioral questions). This was followed by the first technical round consisting of sql questions. Subsequent rounds included questions on Googleyness and role related questions followed by a final round with the director.”

“Got a verbal offer but didn't match to the original team. I did eventually get matched to the next team, so don't give up if you get a verbal offer”

“Coding focussed with focus on leetcode style problems. The design prompts are simple and abstract like design netflix or design instagram, etc. It is upto you to drive design discussion and this round decides leveling”

“Comparatively easy, but took a lot of time to complete the process. Keep your calm and you should be good.”

“It was very rigorous and I feel like they really emphasize on writing bug free code. I feel like I failed by sounding like too much of a start up person during my behaviorals and they were afraid of me leaving.”

“It went pretty well. It was entry level. I think i should have asked more clarifying questions throughout”

“One of the manager took the system design and the rtecuiter was not comminicated thos before. each round 1hr, 40 min spent on system design”

“The process was structured and fairly rigorous, with a good mix of behavioral questions and case-based problem solving. The recruiter was clear about what to expect and provided helpful guidance on how to prepare. I appreciated that the interviewers were engaged and gave me room to explain my thinking rather than focusing only on the final answer. The main challenge was the pace of some of the case discussions, where there was limited time to structure the problem and work through the analysis. Overall, though, the process felt organized and relevant to the work of a management consultant.”

“Pretty standard interview with varying levels of interviewer friendliness. Some were pretty good some were a bit rude.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
