“The interview consists of two parts: a 45 min LC style coding and 15 mins conversation on your prior projects. The 45 min question was to build an arithmetic evaluator. For that, you have to use the Shunting Yard algorithm. It was only "+", "-", "(" and ")". I'm not sure if we would have used more operators, maybe some with precedence, if I had gone further. I had a hard time understanding the interviewer. I learned later on from Chat that you should contact your recruiter immediately if this happens.”

“The process overall was very thorough. They are looking for more technically leaning PMs who are familiar with AI tools and landscape at this time. ”

“The interviewer was nice, however kept interrupting me and push to the next step while I was answering the question. I felt the interviewer was in a rush and wanted to get certain signals by asking specific questions which threw me off a bit as I felt they kinda guiding the interview while i was doing it on my own pace. ”

“It was fast and thoughtful. I didn't really get any feedback on what could have gone better but in general the folks were thoughtful and the conversations were high quality. ”

“Ok! The interview quality was bad, they do not hire much, and their tech stack is not on par with the market. ”

“The bar is pretty high, but the process is very smooth. The coding and system design need to be completed fast.”

“Pretty easy, just very long. For technical just need to do leetcode, no system design. Interviewers help you if you are stuck. ”

“The coding problem was too long to be done within 1 hour. Should practice more and get fluent with basic language libraries and their APIs”

“First was a recruiter screen, which went in a lot more deeper into experience than normal. Be prepared to share why shopify, deep dive in project Second was tech screen, which was sql & python. interviewer helped a lot, and it was more conversational. i think it's important to clarify a ton before writing query”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
