“Overall positive experience – people very friendly and sharp. Mostly behavioral interviews, with deep dive on prior work. There was 1+ week of silence after final round. Think it was because the recruiter got reassigned. ”

“The process was smooth. What didn't go well/how to practice better: - grinding to solve problem under 30 minutes”

“The process went well. The screening round itself has two interviews: the behavioral one and the technical one. I didn't do well on the technical one, so the behavioral one was very much a formality, and it was very clear that the person had seen the feedback. ”

“The process was very practical and not leetcodey at all, though knowing the fundamentals like different types of traversals, rate limiting primitives, scheduling policies did help. The interview process is a bit long, lots of wait between rounds but overall, it's smooth. ”

“A thorough, well-structured process: recruiter screen, hiring manager screen, a take-home case, a virtual onsite of four rounds (product sense, bar raiser/culture, technical execution, ML fundamentals), and a final conversation with a senior product leader. The interviewers were friendly, engaged and clearly hands-on practitioners. Each round probed a different angle, so you get to show range. The recruiting team was responsive and gave candid feedback mid-process, which I appreciated. What didn't go as well was logistics near the end. A late-stage round was cancelled at short notice and rerouted to a different interviewer, who treated it like an early screen, so I wasn't sure what was left. With interviewers across time zones, some slots also fell late in my evening. I didn't get an offer. Looking back, the gap was answer length and audience awareness in the senior rounds, not technical depth.”

“Overall, the process was pretty smooth: application, online assessment, then two virtual interviews. The OA and coding rounds went well because the questions were standard DSA and I was comfortable explaining my approach and complexity. The behavioral portions also felt solid once I got into my STAR examples. The hardest part was handling follow-up questions and changing constraints in real time, especially when I had to rethink an approach while still communicating clearly.”

“The process was smooth and quite fast. The first round was linux basics and second was coding but in a debugging environment.”

“The interview went smoothly overall. 1 round of phone screen followed by the full loop of 4 rounds packed in a day. 2 coding 1 behavior 1 system design.”

“The question seems deceptively simple but its very hard to understand how to start and stay structured.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
