“It was a very typical FAANG interview style. The coding questions are all very leet-code, so it's easy to practice. The design question was unique; I hadn't heard of it before. Not that not all engineers use a question from the internal question bank, but generally speaking it's fine. For system design, be sure to bank-of-envelope to justify why something needs to be a distributed system. Your approach might be overkill / underkill without doing this initial analysis, and you might come off as "just regurgitation sys-design interview formula" ”

“The process was what was expected and they were quick in scheduling and re-scheduling as needed. All questions were ones I had seen before via LC tagged. ”

“Everything went well and my second interview of my final round was just a conversation. First interview was more technical just to see if I could talk about and execute technical concepts.”

“The process was more rigourous it went for 1 month and then another 1 month of background check. Rounds were scheduled properly at proper times HR was very cooperative. Interviewere wer very knowledgeable and technically sound”

“I think I did well, prepapring was the best thing I could do, having notes, listening to podcasts, asking questions, doing mock interviews, practice practice practice”

“Technical questions move fast, dont trip on edge cases. 2 questions in 60 min slot, with multiple followups. Code quickly. With 10 min of intro and questions theres not much time.”

“Interviewers were very helpful throughout. They expect you to communicate your thought process throughout”

“They give you a study guide. I'd recommend reading it. It's your classic data structure and algorithms interviews.”

“It was an extremely smooth process, though team matching was rough. Questions didn't need to be 100% right interestingly, as one of the rounds I didn't finish.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
