“The process was rigorous but very rewarding. The preparation through Exponent helped a lot. Work through coding and system design fundamentals quite well. ”

“The overall interview process was smooth and well organized. The interviewers were friendly and explained the role clearly. I felt comfortable answering most of the questions, although a few technical or situational questions were more challenging than I expected.”

“- Good coding round - Good overall experience - Interviewer was supportive Cons: - it went for 2 months ”

“The process was more slow than expected. The recruiter was very attentive and helpful. Interviewers were happy to share about culture and open up about the less "shiny" aspects.”

“So far straightforward phone screen. Prepped background and interests well and tried to speak to the role in a bit of detail. ”

“Fairly standard recruiter screen. Not indicative of progress, CV needs to be re-circulated internally to teams after the recruiter screen”

“It was very clear overall and well supported by the recruiters. The only confusion was when giving the final presentation, I was told it was geared towards internal teammates. Then the interviewer asked me to present as if to executive customers.”

“The process was well-structured and moved at a good pace, with clear communication about next steps at each stage. What went well: the conversations felt genuinely two-way — I was able to ask real questions and get thoughtful answers, and the interviewers seemed interested in how I think rather than just checking boxes. ”

“few stages: an initial recruiter conversation, a technical screening, and then a set of onsite or virtual interviews. The technical rounds typically cover coding/DSA, system design, and behavioral or leadership-oriented questions. For a Senior role, I’d expect system design and demonstrating technical leadership to carry significant weight. I’d also prepare for Googleyness/culture-related questions”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
