“The interviewer gave me a very abstract description of a system, I needed to design, intentionally to let me clarify it through the questions. Most likely because role success depends on how critical it is for you to bother other people with bombarding questions. After all the questions, I clearly understood the system I needed to design, but time was almost up, so I did not have a chance to finish it as I wanted, but maybe someone else will.”

“The process was smooth, everything went well. Both the interviewer and recruiter was really nice and polite. ”

“It was for an internal mobility role, they were checking of inhouse llm suite adoption and usage skills”

“This was first technical round of interview, I went through typical System design videos but it needs in depth knowledge of system design rather knowing on high level. I kind of assumed it is going to be tough based on Linkedin profile of interviewer. He caught me off guard on few concepts. Interview can go in any direction so prepare deep on concepts. He asked me to write Pseudo code as well. AI Round was good where I was able to answer all questions.”
“The recruiter was quite discouraging, as he mentioned that I should apply for entry-level roles after 7 years of experience. I understand it is in a different country but my experience is with US MNC only. Moreover, he explicitly stated that we hire only MBAs from top B-schools only. I could have performed better if I knew what would be asked, there was hardly any information available on the internet. Moreover, I learnt that PMs don't really choose to interact with customers/clients and are asked to work on features that they get from the sales team. Something to keep in mind if you are looking for a role that requires ownership. ”
“The overall process was fine but the concurrency interview required previous knowledge about those topics which is something that can hurt you if you don't know python. ”

“The interviews are scheduled over 2-3 days so the process is quick. They have a phone screen, DS round, DS with AI, System design and Hiring Manager round.”

“The interviewer seemed nice and helpful. The first half will be about a system that I have owned and the second half is about System Design.”

“Was asked to conduct a live interview on the Karat platform - a third party company hired by Citi to interview candidates. The interview consisted of 5 java theory based questions (~10 min) followed by a pair programming / debugging session (~50 min).”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
