“It's a typical interview process with an HR screening, a LeetCode round, and a system design round. I could have done better in the system design round especially when discussing design tradeoffs.”

“I found the karat assesment difficult. the first half is intended to be a technical conversation, and then the second half an algorithm-style proble. I didnt feel that the first question itself was that tricky? but I could tell they were looking for a different answer, the interviewer basically stopped me and let me know I have 45 minutes to answer the question so make sure I use the whole time, but I did not. I think the leetcode problem went fine, but ultimately I struggled to fill the time appropriately”

“The interview consists of two parts: a 45 min LC style coding and 15 mins conversation on your prior projects. The 45 min question was to build an arithmetic evaluator. For that, you have to use the Shunting Yard algorithm. It was only "+", "-", "(" and ")". I'm not sure if we would have used more operators, maybe some with precedence, if I had gone further. I had a hard time understanding the interviewer. I learned later on from Chat that you should contact your recruiter immediately if this happens.”
