“Hackerrank was supposed to run but the code that was already there was failing. I was able to code the whole logic and tell the time complexity and space complexity , but the code was not able to eexecute, there were questions asked around kubernetes specificaaly but i haven't had any experiecne on that. ”
“IT was a AI based interview, where the interviewrs asked me some technical question related to spark, partitons, How did i managed a end to end data pipeline, how did si deploy data infrastructure”

“Overall, the interview process was well structured and gave me the opportunity to discuss a broad range of experiences across product strategy, customer problems, technical decision-making, and cross-functional leadership. I especially appreciated the follow-up questions, which made the conversations feel thoughtful and allowed me to go deeper into my reasoning and trade-offs. The interviewers were engaging and created a comfortable environment for discussion. The main area that could have been better was having slightly more visibility into the focus of each interview beforehand, which would have helped me better understand how the different conversations fit together. Overall, though, I had a positive experience and enjoyed learning more about the team and role through the process”

“Overall, the interview process went well. The questions were clear and gave me an opportunity to explain my skills, experience, and interest in the position. I felt comfortable communicating with the interviewer and appreciated the professional and respectful approach. One area that could have gone better was that I was a little nervous at the beginning, but I became more confident as the interview continued. Overall, it was a positive and useful experience. ”
“The screening process was pretty straightforward. It started with a few basic questions about my prior experience, relevant background, and the technical projects I had worked on. From there, the conversation focused on the projects I had mentioned, with questions about my specific contributions, the technologies I used, the challenges I encountered, and how I approached solving technical problems. Overall, the screening was fairly conversational and served mainly to assess my technical foundation, hands-on experience, and ability to clearly explain the work I had done.”

“The interview screen was pretty straightforward. The hiring manager screen is mainly behavioral and assessing your product style and fit”

“The process was significantly more rigorous than what I’ve experienced at other big tech companies. While most companies focus primarily on technical execution, Amazon's intense focus on evaluating every response against specific Leadership Principles adds a layer of complexity that requires deep preparation. That said, the recruiter was incredibly accurate, transparent, and helpful regarding what to expect, which is rare in this industry and highly appreciated."”

“My interview process started with a recruiter screen, which was very relaxed and conversational. We talked through my resume, previous experiences, and interest in the role, and the conversation felt more like getting to know each other than a formal interview. I felt comfortable discussing my background and was able to clearly explain my experiences. Overall, the process went smoothly, and there weren’t any major issues or areas that I felt could have gone better.”

“The overall process was too long. Reached out by the recruiter at the end of May, Hiring manager screening at the beginning of June, then being ghosted for almost a month, got recruiter's email for the next round, which is a take home assignment (AI prototype). Presented my prototype with hiring manager and a SW engineer at the beginning of July, and complete 4 final rounds at the end of July. Added one additional round for technical at the beginning of August, and ghosted by the recruiter again. I heard from another recruiter that the roles was filled so I assumed I was rejected. Most of the interviews are just like the typical PM interview, no PM case except for the AI prototype assignment. I didn't do well on the technical and the skip level interview. The skip level interview was suppose to be a cultural fit interview but it turned out to be a technical interview so caught me off-guard. All technical interviews (+ the skip level one) asked deep technical question.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
