“Mostly feature engineering, with some core Python (functions and classes) mixed in. The platform has a built-in AI assistant you can query for syntax, so you don't need to memorize every method. You can execute your code to check it, but no test cases are given. So you never get a pass/fail signal. You have to decide how much time to spend validating your own output versus moving on to the next problem. Sanity-check the shape, nulls, and dtypes of what you build, and write your own quick asserts.”

“It was very unstructured. Most of the questions were about previous experience. Asked about team management. ”

“There was a long wait between the time I submitted my application and when I was contacted by HR. I received an automatic reply following the submission and then noting for about 2 months, I actually thought that I hadn't got past the CV screening but then I was contacted and was able to schedule interview through their platform around 2 weeks after. The pace of the interviews seems measured overall.”

“Easy to interview. Recruiter + director were very nice but tech screen engineer was quite cold. Unique experience with the Ai coding round being the first one.”

“The recruiter screen is to check whether you can fit into the fast-paced environment of the company. The take-home project is not a trivial one, and the timeline is a bit tight to submit a proper solution on time. This is probably done on purpose, to see how you can manage tight deadlines.”

“This kind of interview is new to me as I don't have a tech background. The screening call was to make sure I matched the requirements. The CCAT/UCAT test wasn't too difficult but it is best to practice using examples on udemy so you can answer all 40 questions in 20 mins. The take home task took most of the week. I am new to SQL so there was a learning curve to try and get over.”

“Both rounds went well. I highly recommend reviewing previously asked questions for the company you are interviewing with. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could solve both problems easily, as I had already practiced the similar questions on LeetCode”

“Behavioral : Very smooth and friendly Case: Stress test. Cold attitude by the interviewer from the very first minute”

“Interviews went smoothly. They expect you to be able to deeply unpack your responsibilities in your current/former roles and expect you to elaborate in great detail as well about how your organization functions, different teams interact with each other, etc.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
