“I enjoyed moving through the process - the recruiters are contracted. The final round is 3 back to back interviews (~45 mins to 1 hr) talking about products, opinions, and behavioral questions. There is a lot of clear feedback, and the interviewers can be PMs from any team, so they may or may not be on the same team as you if hired. There is a lot of communication between the recruiters and the PMs, so the interview process is quite transparent. PM positions chosen by internal organization leaders (such as Actions, Security VP chooses candidates they want).”

“The process was relatively short and well defined. I went through a recruiter screen followed by a first round with the director of the portfolio. After passing that the final round was a panel with two group PMs, an eng manager, and a design manager (4 separate interviews over the course of a week) eBay provided 4 "themes" for each panel interview, however both PM rounds asked execution questions when one of the rounds was supposed to be strategic or product design focused.”

“I interviewed for an AI role so there was a clear focus on AI knowledge and experience throughout. Less focus on testing product skills but more on how comfortable I'm with designing a knowledge base, metrics, evals, trade-off's. It was more technical than I was prepared to answer”

“The process is a bit different than other companies. They are thorough and stress a lot of importance on the cases you will have to complete. The recruiter is very supportive throughout the process. ”

“More difficult than I had expected. The questions were new, and there was a lot more counter questioning than expected. Especially in the product design round.”

“So far, the recruiter has been super helpful in terms of telling me exactly what to expect in each round.”

“good and the recruiter was helpful throughout the whole process. I would say the product design question in the technical interview was more loosely structured - not super technical.”

“Interviews were scheduled really quickly, and had ample insight into each round. Conversations were intense with not a minute of down time. Extremely pointed and data heavy questions”

“Interviewer was nice. He was kind off to help and explain all clarifying questions. What went well : - indentifying stakeholder What didn't well : -> end user experience could have been explained more clearly”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
