“The overall process was structured and professional, with a mix of coding, technical discussion, and behavioral questions based on Amazon Leadership Principles. The interviewers were clear and gave me space to explain my reasoning. I felt strongest when discussing my past experience, system decisions, and behavioral examples. The main area I could have handled better was time management during coding.I spent too much time thinking through some details instead of communicating my approach and iterating quickly. Overall, it was a good learning experience and helped me identify where to improve for future interviews.”

“interview process is very lengthy took around 5 weeks, and expectations is very high in each round, for LLD working code is required, also dont mess your HM round since i felt like it contained more weightage ”

“The process was confusing and leaned more towards DSA than I was expecting. It was basically trying to figure out a deduplication using hashsets.”

“The round was easy - I had to go over my current responsibilities and my work. I was asked a coding question as well so prepare DSA well”

“They were open to remote for the right fit. They were reasonably quick and accommodating with getting the different rounds scheduled within a 2 week time period.”

“The process was well-organized and moved at a reasonable pace. Communication from the recruiter was clear, and each round had a defined focus, so I always knew what to expect. The interviewers were professional and gave me space to walk through my thinking. What went well was the technical discussion , it felt like a genuine conversation rather than a checklist, and the questions were relevant to the role. What could have been smoother was the scheduling between rounds, which took a bit longer than expected, and I would have appreciated slightly more feedback along the way.”

“Till now the process has been relatively easy if you prep well. Make sure to practice when to use which data structures, explain why you are using them.”

“The process was pretty rigorous, mainly because the bar at E6 felt more about scope and judgement than just solving the questions. Recruiter was clear and helpful. The coding rounds went ok, but I spent too long explaining some edge cases. Design was probably the strongest part, good back-and-forth and tradeoffs. Behavioral was fine, though I could’ve been more specific with impact numbers. Overall, a solid process but definitely tiring.”

“It's pretty standard. Medium difficulty, nothing that is really surprising. For the domain interview, they also expect you to do a mini-design, but it was simple and brief. ”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”

“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
