Computer Vision Engineer Interview Experience
Interview process
The process is quite messy. The recruiter reached out back in august and then while I expressed intrest it took her another couple of weeks to get back to me. Then another week to schedule initial talk with a team member. Then had two screening interviews with members from Reality Labs, none technical but talked about past projects, how do I see myself fit in the team, what can I contribute and etc.

Interview tips
Just know what's on the resume. If they reached out, means they are interested. Study and go over what you expressed in the CV and know to talk about it.
Company culture
It seems like a big mess. The recuitor said my interview will be 1 and it will be with the HM. However, the first round was with some random person that thought I had already cleared the interviews. Then I had a follow-up with a team member (not HM) where we discussed things that are a little more related to what the team does. Same goes for the preparation for the interviews. Not a lot of clarity on what will be asked. I was told 1 Leetcode, 1 AI Coding (not AI Enabled), 2 AI Design (CV related) and 1 behavior. There is not really a way to prepare for the design part, hopefully just know what you have done the best. So overall seems like a big mess.

“There’s a new AI coding section I haven’t seen before. They still want to test my coding skill, so I first implement by myself, then use AI as a code reviewer for readability and missing test cases.”

“In the age of AI, I could feel the interviewer adding little follow-up questions just to make sure I actually understood the problem, because if you were using AI tools, there’d be a lag. Even clearing the onsite doesn’t mean you’ll find a team quickly.”
