Machine Learning Engineer Interview Experience
Interview process
The coding round was the most tricky one, you don't know what problem you will get for the leetcode round. ML fundamentals, ML design is easy if you prepare for regular ML system designs. AI coding, do not use the cutting edge models, it takes forever to run. Make sure to downgrade your model, so it answers fast. Behavioral is pretty standard.

Interview tips
Linkedin is pretty prepareable in terms of the interview, just follow the resources found online. They are more focused on the traditional ML fundamentals than LLMs or transformers. Most of the problems are quite boring.
Company culture

“The process was quite rigorous. I went through 7 rounds in total. The interviewers were experienced and helpful and dropped sufficient hints. The feedback was great but I felt like hiring bar was very high and nitpicky.”

“The weirdest part for me was the AI coding round. They gave me a buggy maze class in HackerRank, made me use the built-in assistant, and then spent the back half probing why I trusted one AI-generated approach over the others.”
