Forward Deployed Engineer Interview Experience
Interview process
The interview process was pretty smooth, just took a while to hear back between rounds. Recruiter was helpful with tips for preparation. The most hands-on interview i have had, although I haven't had many technical rounds for FDE roles in the past.

“The "why" is so important. As an FDE, you have to learn to explain why your work matters — why it helps the customer, why it helps the business, and why it was the right approach.”

“The recruiter screen is to check whether you can fit into the fast-paced environment of the company. The take-home project is not a trivial one, and the timeline is a bit tight to submit a proper solution on time. This is probably done on purpose, to see how you can manage tight deadlines.”
