Software Engineer Interview Experience
Interview process
The overall interview process was well-structured and engaging. The interviewers were professional, communicated expectations clearly, and gave me opportunities to demonstrate my technical and problem-solving skills. I particularly enjoyed the technical discussions and collaborative nature of the interviews. One area that could have been improved was having more clarity around the timeline and expectations between rounds.

Interview tips
I would recommend practicing data structures and algorithms, especially medium-level LeetCode problems, and becoming comfortable explaining your thought process while coding. It's also important to review your past projects and be prepared to discuss technical decisions, challenges, and trade-offs. Practicing communication and asking clarifying questions can make a significant difference.
Company culture
What stood out most was the emphasis on collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous learning. The interviewers seemed genuinely interested in understanding how I approached problems rather than just whether I arrived at the correct answer. Overall, the team came across as knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about solving challenging engineering problems.

“It was the usual four-round AWS loop, but the HM actually spent time on how I use GenAI to fast track my workflow, and the Bar Raiser was basically all LPs with tons of follow-ups.”

“They brought up on-call in multiple conversations, so that was the culture signal I actually believed. Then the hiring manager had me design a package tracker that could survive duplicate, out-of-order updates during Prime Day.”
