## Interview experiences

We include 13 shared interview experiences connected with this question. Each entry is a user-contributed account and remains attributed to the named company and role.

1. **Nike — a month ago**
“The process was somewhat behavorial as opposed to technical. The interviewers were very relaxed, but questions seemed not to be entirely focused on pm.”
   **Role:** Product Manager · Intern

2. **Stripe — 3 months ago**
“The interview was fairly similar to other FAANG style PM interviews. The written assignment asked for a Product Assessment, but the recruiter told me that they also wanted it to demonstrate API understanding, so commentary on the API calls and error messages/suggested improvements is expected. The final interview with the hiring manager is also a potential end of process for a negative result, which is surprising.”
   **Role:** Product Manager · Staff / L6

3. **Aisle — 4 months ago**
“The interviewer was polite and good. She gave detailed responses with data on clarifying questions. I believe this was my 1st interview as I started prep, hence I was unstructured.”
   **Role:** Product Manager · Senior / L5

4. **Robinhood — 4 months ago**
“The recruiter did a good job of giving me an idea of what to expect. Honestly, I didn't practice enough mocks by the time the interview came around. I liked that they had a portal for viewing the application process but I got no notification at all about my rejection.”
**Role:** Product Manager · Sr. Staff / L7

5. **Stripe — 8 months ago**
“So far, the recruiter has been super helpful in terms of telling me exactly what to expect in each round.”
**Role:** Product Manager · Mid Level / L4

6. **Google — 9 months ago**
“The process was rigorous, and they clearly expected a high standard of technical knowledge even for a PM role. My recruiter was awesome and really helped move the process forward.”
   **Role:** Product Manager · Intern

7. **IBM — 9 months ago**
“Process was straightforward, online screen then behavioural with product sense. They asked a lot about my experiences/projects that relate to PM. Then a simple product sense question where I picked a product and explained what I would add.”
   **Role:** Product Manager · Intern
   [Read the IBM experience](https://www.aced.io/experiences/ibm-product-manager-intern-interview-034d78)

9. **Google — a year ago**
“I applied right before the Google APM application closed, got in through a referral, and tried to make my resume read a lot more product-focused without completely rewriting my background. The process for me was one first-round product design interview, then five second-round interviews, then a 72-hour take-home and a final presentation with a PM. The interviews felt pretty traditional PM overall, mostly product vision, analysis, strategy, and judgment, and not especially AI-heavy outside of one Gemini-style prompt. A few interviewers definitely pushed on weak spots and made me pivot, and one round felt rushed enough that I basically had to deliver my answer in one shot. Google gave me no feedback at any stage, but I ended up getting the offer.”

10. **IBM — 2 years ago**
“I got fast-tracked to the final round. So I can't really speak to the standardized experience. But the interviewer was very nice.”
    **Role:** Product Manager · Intern
    [Read the IBM experience](https://www.aced.io/experiences/ibm-product-manager-intern-interview-95499e)

11. **Google — 2 years ago**
“It was quite a lengthy process. The TAT was quite long and slow as well. Didn't receive a lot of feedback to prepare better for the next rounds, but overall was a great learning experience.”
**Role:** Technical Program Manager · Intern
    [Read the Google experience](https://www.aced.io/experiences/google-technical-program-manager-intern-interview-751415)

12. **Google — 2 years ago**
“The overall process was spread across months making it challenging to keep up with constant preparation. I was able to ace the product design, analytics and execution questions. I could have done better in the cross functional round.”
**Role:** Product Manager · Mid Level / L4
    [Read the Google experience](https://www.aced.io/experiences/google-product-manager-interview-46f9f4)

13. **Meta — 3 years ago**
“It was an extremely smooth process, though team matching was rough. Questions didn't need to be 100% right interestingly, as one of the rounds I didn't finish.”
**Role:** Software Engineer · Mid Level / L4
