# Intuit Product Manager (PM) Interview Guide

Updated 6 days ago by Intuit candidates.

Aced (formerly Exponent) provides this expert guide to preparing for Intuit product manager interviews. The guide covers the interview process, interviewer expectations, preparation advice, example questions, and related resources. It includes tabs for the [expert guide](https://www.aced.io/guides/intuit-product-manager-interview), [interview experiences](https://www.aced.io/guides/intuit-product-manager-interview/experiences), [questions](https://www.aced.io/guides/intuit-product-manager-interview/questions), and [resumes](https://www.aced.io/guides/intuit-product-manager-interview/resumes).

## About the guide

Our guides are created from recent, real, first-hand insights shared by interviewers and candidates. If your experience differs, [tell us here](https://www.aced.io/questions/contribute).

Intuit hires [product managers](https://www.aced.io/courses/pm) for customer-obsessed product judgment, which is central to its product-led culture. The business challenge may come from an unrelated industry and mirror a challenge the hiring manager’s team is working on. Interviewers question the solution from their own functions, so one untested assumption can resurface throughout the interview loop.

## Intuit product manager interview process

Intuit structures its [PM interview](https://www.aced.io/courses/pm#pm-intro) around one take-home case prepared after the hiring manager interview. Candidates present the case during the final-round day called A4A, or “Assessing for Awesome,” and every panelist follows up on the solution.

The full loop takes about a month on average. Senior loops can take several months from first contact to offer; ask the recruiter for target dates at each stage.

The process can include:

1. **Recruiter screen:** A 20–30 minute call covering the resume, communication, and motivation.
2. **Hiring manager interview:** A 45–60 minute conversation combining behavioral questions with product-sense or technical follow-ups.
3. **Take-home case:** A presentation prompt with up to 10 days of lead time for senior roles, set by the recruiter.
4. **A4A case presentation:** A 60-minute Craft Demo that begins with a personal introduction, continues with the case, and is delivered to a 3–5 person panel.
5. **A4A 1:1 interviews:** 30–60 minute conversations with each panelist, typically the hiring manager, an engineering manager, a data scientist, and a designer.

Panel composition and technical depth vary by team. Senior loops may add a skip-level or peer conversation before the A4A day. Use this process as a preparation baseline because an individual loop may differ.

## Recruiter screen

The Intuit PM recruiter screen is a 20–30 minute behavioral call. It confirms that the resume and LinkedIn profile match the role. Recruiters also listen for clear descriptions of impact and alignment with Intuit’s values.
